5th KENDŌ TOURNAMENT OSTRAVA KAHAN
Our club will organize the Kendō tournament in Frýdek-Místek city from 2020
It will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the premises of the Gymnasium Petra Bezruče
The tournament is included in the rankings of the ČFK Kendō National Cup
Categories and entry fees (according to the ČFK Competition Rules)
Arrival possible from 8:30am or the day before with an overnight stay at the Dōjō. At 9:30am inspection of the Shinai
Tournament starts at 10am, expected end at 6pm. Competition will run on two Shiai-jos. Spectators have free entry.
The main judge of the tournament will be Sensei Yasuyuki Hiyama (Kyōshi 7th Dan)

Clarification of categories:
* start possible in only one category
* ladies (born 2009 and older) who meet the conditions for starting in both the Junior and Ladies categories can start in these two categories
* junior semi-finalists from the Junior category can be entered in the Men Dan category if they meet the conditions for starting in this category (born 2009 and older; with a technical grade of Dan)
* age is derived from the age reached in a given calendar year, not the current age on the day of the tournament

Juniors 150 CZK,
Ladies, Men Kyū, Men Dan 300 CZK per each category
Holders 4. Dan and above have a free tournament
We accept payments on the spot in cash in Czech currency.
